0830: 2 specials (bread, lettuce, cheese, turkey, bell-pepper)

1100: 4 unsalted rice cakes.

1500: one apple.

1530: 3 turkey dogs with bun, lettuce, tomato, ketchup and dijon mustard and 1 plain with nothing.

Looks tasty, right? :) Tasted tasty too.

1900: 1 hotdog. (spoiled a potentially perfect day, but I was out and got hungry. Not a lot of healthy options in the city).

2100: about 50 grams of freia dark premium chocolate (70% coacao). A nutritional expert here in Norway recommended 100 grams of dark chocolate every day.

0345: Woke up and couldn’t go to sleep again. My stomach was screaming, so I ate 2 skin free low fat dinner sausages (about 250 Kcal).

Down again!

It is a morning of cheers here. I am down at 149 kgs blank again. I hope it is the trips to the gym that has started talking. :) This was good news on a wonderful monday morning.

0800: 2 slices of taco pizza.

1245: 1 bowl of spaghetti with tomato sauce.

Worked out from 1400 to 1530.

1530: 1 hotdog with raw onions.

1930: 1 fried chicken breast with a serving of boiled rice.

Long time, no blog!

It hase been some days since I blogged now. I haven’t been feeling to well mentally. I’ve realized that my mood is like the weather outdoors. If it rains, I’m down, if the sun shines, my mood is good and we have had som days with bad and dusk weather. I know what makes me feel blue, but it’s hard to fight it. But when I think of it, why should I fight it? Is it bad to feel a bit blue once in a while? At least now when all I do is to be at home to feed and change diapers on Charlotte. I can do that in my sleep, and often feel that I do just that. :)
Today it’s quite bright outside. There has fallen a thin layer of snow during the night and the clouds are white and nice. :) So I actually feel pretty ok today.

I woke up at 0730 today. Charlotte demanded breakfast. Since I felt well rested I stayed up after feeding her. Since she fell asleep again, I considered returning to bed, but some surfin’ time with a cup of coffee tempted more. So here I am. Charlotte has woken up again and is now strapped to my belly. She thinks it’s exciting to see what daddy is doing on the computer. I guess she likes the colors on the screen.

On the nerdy side of my, I have perfected the living room jukebox now. I have figured out how to get radio streams into it, and now it serves as our radio too. :) Wonder where I can find some cool radio stations on the net. I would appreciate tips. :) I like most music. The exception is hard core jazz. I just don’t get jazz. To me it just sounds like a bunch of musicians tuning their instruments. Awful.

Today I am going to the gym again. It is the first time in a week I actually look forward to working out. I hope I will be able to enjoy as much as I use to.

0900: 2 slices of white bread with cheese and turkey.

1215: 2 slices with cheese.

1600: 2 slices of bread with lettuce, cucumber and cheese.

1745: 1 hotdog with whole grain bun

2130: 4 slices of veggiepizza.

Had about 150 grams of milk chocolate today after the workout.

Bad day!

Today have been horrible. I haven’t had a trace of energy in my system. Haven’t done anything today. Just been waiting to go to sleep again. Of course it has gotten a bit better tonight when I actually can go to sleep again :(. Should have worked out today, but we postponed until tomorrow instead.

But my appetite has been present (of course). Here’s todays menu:

0730: 1 roll with lettuce, ham, cheese and cucumbar and 1 roll with tomato and cucumber.

1145: 2 slices of oat bread with cheese and turkey.

1830: 100 grams of nutrilett bar.

2000: 8 turkey meatballs with 2 potatoes and half a plate of sallad of red and green cabbage and shredded carrots.

0730: 2 slices of bread with eggs fried with no fat.

1145: 1 whole grain bun with turkey and lettuce.

1345: 2 slices of bread with cheese and 2 carrots.

1615: 4 hotdogs with a serving of mashed potatoes.

2000: 3 tortilla wrap pizzas. Small pizzas with little cheese and wraps as crust.

Learning my daugher the important things in life!

Here you see me teaching my daughter how to make backup copies of music cd’s to harddisk using the Linux operating system:

I am also extremeley proud of my dog right now. We have a cage for him where he sleeps at night and sits when we have visitors thats afraid of dogs. We have hoped he would consider this a nice place to be also with the door open, but so far he hasn’t done that. We’ve had to lure him into the cage with food and snacks. When he is in the cage, he falls asleep and sleeps until we open the door again.

What made me proud just now was simply that I found him asleep in his cage with the door open for the first time ever. He is such a good dog. He got a bun as a reward. :)

Feeling extremely energetic today. Is it because of the 200 cups of coffee I’ve had today? Anyways, here’s todays grub:

0730: 2 whole grain rolls with lettuce, turkey, cheese, cucumber and yellow bell-pepper.

1145: 1 of the same as breakfast.

1400: a fistful of potato chips. Also had 2 mouthfuls of som horrible casserole (pytt i panne). I think it has been in the freezer too long.

1700: same as 0730.

I am typing this on the way to the gym. Hope to spend most of this excess energy. If not I will not be able to sleep tonight :).

2045: 2 fish burgers with whole grain buns.
