Bad, bad day!

Bad day diet wise. Haven’t had any meals, really, just been eating very small meals all day. So today I had 6 turkey hotdogs, which actually isn’t bad, only 10% fat and healthy meat. but the 4 waffles with strawberry jam wasn’t good. *sigh*

feels good to not have sore muscles.

Breakfast: 2 slices bread with cheese, turkey and cucumber.

Lunch: 1 wheat baguette with roast beef, tomato red bell-pepper and cucumber.

Afternoon: 1 hotdog.

Dinner: 4 slices of way too hot thin-crust taco pizza.

Depressing, but expected

Stepped on the scale today and it was a bit depressing. It had gone over 150 again, that is 151 kgs. But I have started working out with weights and expected to gain a little in the beginning. Hopefully it will start going down again soon.

Breakfast: 2 slices of bread with turkey, cheese and cucumber.

Lunch: 2 pitas with nothing in.

Afternoon meal: 2 slices of bread with cheese and liver pate.

Dinner: one hot dog.

Went to the gym today. walked/ran for 45 minutes. Want to have a day without sore muscles tomorrow.

Forgot about weighing in

I totally forgot weighing in today. I will step on tomorrow.

Breakfast: 2 slices of whole grain bread with turkey slice, cheese, lettuce, cucumber and red-bellpepper.

Lunch: 1 pizza slice.

Dinner: same as breakfast.

Supper: 3 taco wraps.

Lunch: 1 chicken burger after the workout. Got very tired today. Very good. Very, very good. I am so happy to finally have joined a gym and getting a regularity in the training.

Dinner: 4 big turkey nuggets with mini garlic baguettes.

Have also eaten some candy this weekend.

Back to the routine!

Kept the routine nicely yesterday resulting in loosing 1 kg in 24 hours. :) Nice! I feel I’m back on track now and will increase the weightloss rate at the gym. We are having the first normal exercise today. Looking forward to it.

Breakfast 0830: 2 slices of lo-carb, hi-fiber bread with cheese, cucumber and red bell-pepper.

Lunch 1200: ham & cheese-salad with one white and one wheat roll.

Worked out for 90 minutes. Very hard, very good, doing it again on sunday.

Snack: 1 small mars bar and a hot dog. Needed energy to keep the metabolism up after the workout.

Dinner 1900: 180 grams steak with assorted veggetables and potato boats.

Supper 2200: 2 slices of bread with cheese.

No wind?

We have been ridden by storms lately, but today theres practically no wind. Great. Have gone for a walk and plan to go for another later on.

Breakfast 0830: 3 slices whole grain bread with cheese and turkey.

Lunch 1115: shellfish salad with whole grain roll.

Dinner 1600: 3 meat cakes with broccoli and 3 medium size boiled potatoes.

Snack 1900: 1/2 pineapple.

Had two new energy chocolate bars today.

Supper 2130: 2 slices of low carb, high fiber bread with cheese and turkey.

Better day today!

I ate to much between meals yesterday. Didn’t get everything into the blog. But today has been a lot better:

Breakfast 0730: 2 slices of wheatbread with turkey slice, cheese and red bell-pepper.

Lunch 1230: shellfish salad without dressing. 1 whole grain roll.

Afternoon meal 1530: 3 turkey dogs (10.5% fat).

Dinner/supper 1930: Chicken breast with hot tikka masala sauce and yasmine rice.

Snack: 1/2 pineapple

Breakfast 1000: 2 slices whole grain bread with turkey slice.

Lunch 1330: 1 mini calzone with sprite (the cafe was out of diet soda).

Afternoon meal 1515: 2 slices of white bread with turkey slice.

Went to the gym today. Me and my wife’s cousin’s husband (:)) is going to work out 3 times a week; tuesday, thursday and sunday.

When pumping iron you should eat carbs before workout and proteins after the workout. So I had a Mars bar before workout and am going to have some pizza slices for supper.

Bad news from the scale, but…

I was a bit disappointed when I stepped on this morning. the scale showed 149.5 kilos. That is quite a bit up since before christmas, but after thinking a little it is not too bad and actually a bit misleading. I haven’t been to the bathroom in 2-3 days. Guess this will be considerably better next week.

I am about to join a gym now. Going for the second trial hour tomorrow to get a program set up and from then on I will be working out in the gym 3 times a week (tuesday, thursday and sunday) in addition to the walks with the dog.

Todays menu:

Breakfast 0945: 2 slices of wheat bread with turkey slice. It is impossible to get good lettuce and vegetables in the stores now. They go bad in 1-2 days. Too bad, because sandwiches with loads of lettuce, tomatos and cucumbers is so good.

Lunch 1300: 2 slices of whole grain bread with white cheese.

Dinner 1600: Sausages with boiled potatoes, onions and tomatoes.

Supper 2000: 4 turkey hot dogs.
