Nice weather!

We have had sunshine to days in a row now. That is good. It rained yesterday, but only about half an hour or so. The leg feels better today, so I guess I will try to get a long walk with the dog today.

Today I got up to send Maiken off to school but was so tired that I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Luckily my wife got up to and saw how tired I was and sent me off to bed again. So I got to sleep long today. I Love my Wifey.

Breakfast 1030: 2 slices of wheat bread with lettuce, cheese, turkey-slice and cucumber. Had 0.5l water to drink.

1430: 1 slice of wheatbread with turkey and cheese.

Dinner 1630: Thai food. Chicken wok with 0.5l pepsi max to drink.

Have been out all afternoon and evening and don’t remember when I ate what I ate, but I remember what:

1 new energy-bar.
1 slice of an interesting tasting bread with cheese and red bell-pepper.
0.5l pepsi max.

BTW: My leg isn’t better after all. I can hardly walk now. going to se a doctor tomorrow. Hope this can be fixed quickly. If not I will be crippled next week. One bad leg and one sliced up arm. *sigh*

Late supper 2330: Staying up late. Was starving, so I had to have a polar-bread (white bread) with ham, cheese, lettuce and clementines.

Pain in my thigh!

I have a bad pain in my thigh today. But it only feels like I’ve been working out very hard, so I guess it will mend in a couple of days.

Breakfast 0730: 2 slices of bread with mackerel in tomato sauce and cucumber on top. 0.5l water to drink.

Lunch 1200: 2 chicken-burgers with fried eggs, lettuce, cucumber and red bell-pepper. Something this easy can actually look this good:

Drank 0.5l of water.

Afternoon meal 1530: 2 pitabread with turkey sausage. 0.5l water.

Dinner 1800: 2 fish burgers with lettuce, tomato and prokorn-buns. 0.5l pepsi max to drink.

Had a kiwi at 2045.

Have also had 2 small squares of the cake (thankfully its gone now) and 4 toffins (small pea-size chocolate-covered caramels).

Manic monday!

Weighed in at 151.5 today. That is another 1.2 kilos down. This has been a slow week. Only reason why I have lost anything this week is yesterdays fast, I think. I’m excited to se how the weight develops the next couple of days.

Could finally eat something today. Yesterday was quite an affliction.

Breakfast 0745: 2 slices of wheat bread with lettuce, turkey and cucumber. 0.5l water.

Lunch 1130: one omelet of 3 eggs with turkey and red bell-pepper. Had lettuce, tomato and cucumber on the side. Drank 0.5l water.

I am having a REALLY bad day today. My mood is really explosive and I feel angry all the time. I guess the fasting-thing is nothing for me. I will stop that. I have un-medicated diabetes (type 2) and respond with explosive anger the day after the blood sugar is out of balance. So I will stop this fasting thing on sundays. It’s not good for me and my environment.

Had to climb up the ladder to check the roof today. We have a leak in the bathroom. I climbed up and the gutter was filled with dirt and moss and the water runs in under the roof and into our bathroom. I tried to clean it out, but suddenly I felt a pop in my thigh. Right now I’m practically unable to use my right leg. It doesn’t hurt, but the muscle in the front of the thigh just doesn’t work. So I have to take it easy with the walking today. Just as good, the weather is really bad. :)
Afternoon meal 1600: 2 slices of wheat bread with cottage cheese and dia-jam. 250 grams of baby carrots. 0.5l pepsi max and a cup of coffee.

Late dinner/early supper 1915: Fish au gratin with 3 small potatoes, lettuce, tomato and grated carrots. Had 0.5l pepsi max to drink.

Had a bit too much pepsi max today, but just needed those sweet tasting bubbles. It hasn’t got any calories, so I guess its ok. :)
I have to come clean. TAWLC does not work unless every small crumb I eat gets accounted for here in the weblog. So here goes: Wifey baked a cake yesterday. I have had two squares of this cake.

Application for Coach/Sponsor

I Wish for a coach/sponsor here on tawlc.net. One that knows a lot about diet, health and lifestyle and that shares my philosophies about weightloss and healthy lifestyles.

My reason for applying for such a coach is to get someone to guide me, motivate me and help me in times of lacking motivation.

We will have to agree on how to do this. The options I can think of now is:

  • Give a weekly report in the forums
  • Comment as we go

In return all I can offer is a .com/.net/.org/.biz/.info-domain with virus- and spam-filtering and all the mail-addresses you want. In addition you can get web-hosting on my server. You will have access to these services as long as I think you do a satisfying job as a coach.

The web-hosting must be low traffic, legal and non-commercial. If these conditions is broken I will get in trouble with my net-provider and all of tawlc.net will disappear :).

A fast day!

Today is my day of fast. I will therefore not enter a menu here, but I will try to sum opp what I drink through the day. Have made a thermos of buillion for nutriotion and plan to drink a couple of cups of coffee and quite a bit of water and non-sugar lemonade.

Have been drinking a lot today. 2-3 cups of buillion, quite a lot of water, 2 cups of coffee and about a liter of sugar-free peach beverage (Fun light).

Had about 10 cashews right now (2120).

Have taken 2 walks with the dog today. Each about 1/2 hour long.

Wifey made cake. Had to taste a small piece.

And the rain keeps pouring down!

We’ve had one single day without constantly pouring rain this week. Guess that’s why I was feeling a bit blue yesterday. Went to bed early yesterday and woke up at 0530 today. Couldn’t sleep anymore because my kidneys hurt. This is a sign that I probably drank way to little yesterday. My weblog confirms that.

Will try to help that today. It is now 0900 and I have already taken in 1ltr of water.

And on to business:

Breakfast 0815: 2 slices of rye bread with lettuce, chicken-slice and tomato.

Had a cup of mocha coffee.

Lunch 1230: 2 pieces of weetabix with skimmed milk, 1 banana and a tablespoon of diabetes raspberry jam. 1 cup of black coffee.

Afternoon meal 1530: 1 bowl of noodle soup (85 grams).

Dinner 1845: 3 slices of pizza and 0.5l pepsi max.

Late supper 2030: The last pizza slice and 0.5l water.

Have also had 75 grams of cashews today.

Tomorrow I’m going to fast. Just drink a lot of water and bouillon. If that works I guess I will do that every sunday.

Tired.

Breakfast 0715: 1 slice of wheat bread with lettuce, cheese and cucumber and 1 slice of rye bread with lettuce, chicken-slice and cucumber. 0.5l water.

Lunch 1100: wheat bread baguette with chicken tandoori and vegetables. 0.5l tab xtra.

Afternoon meal 1345: Ryebread sandwich with a 60 gram chicken-burger.

Going to see Shrek 2 today. I guess I will allow myself a small bag of candy to the movie. It’s one of those occations where I think a little snacking should be allowed.

Movie snacks: Shared a bucket of popcorn with Maggie and Maiken. Had a small bag of candy too. Drank 0.5l water. Shrek 2 was nice. Very nice.

Supper 2015: 2 slices rye bread with cucumber, tomato, cheese and turkey-burger. 0.3l pepsi max.

Having a bad day today. Feeling depressed and blue. Guess it’s the weather. My temper is bad and I get angry too quickly. Hope a good nights sleep will fix the problem.

fwd:In the hospital

We are at the hospital and are waiting for a doctor to do a checkup on Maggie. The baby lays the wrong way. The doctor will check if they should try to turn the baby around. He will check if the baby os too big too to know if they should start to deliver the baby at the term day.

Got a bit hungry at 1530, so i had a hot dog and shared a chocolate bar with Maggie. I intensely hate to wait without knowing how long.

Don’t let it slip away!

It’s a beautiful day, don’t let it slip away. The sun is shining, its 5 degrees celsius (41F) outside, there’s no wind and the sun is shining from a clear blue sky. Was out for the bathroom-trip with the dog and the weather is so extremely fresh and crisp. This is my favorite weather. Guess I will take a walk in the forest with the dog. We are going to shop winter clothes for Maiken (my stepdaugher) today, but after that it is off to the woods.

But on to business:

Breakfast 0830: 2 small slices of rye bread with mackerel in tomato sauce and cucumber and 1 small slice with cottage cheese and diabetes raspberry jam. Had 0.5l of water and a sip of applejuice. Going to have a cup of coffee too.

Lunch 1200: Chicken/veggie-mush. Fried veggies (1/2 onion, 1/2 red bell-pepper, fistful of sliced mushrooms, 2 tomatoes, 5 mini-corn cobs) and 150 grams of chopped up chickenburgeres. Delicious. Had 0.5l water to drink. And I almost forgot about the garlic :). Had quite a bit of ground, dried garlic in.

1530: so i had a hot dog and shared a chocolate bar with Maggie.

Dinner/Supper 1915: Turkey hot dogs (11.7% fat) with wheat bread buns, lettuce and my own hotdog relish.

Walked an hour with the dog. I just love the autumn when it doesn’t rain. Nice, crisp weather and an joy to be outdoors in.

Going to have a slow day!

I’m worn out from yesterday. I think I will just relax and read all day.

Breakfast 0730: 2 slices of wheat bread with lettuce and boiled egg and 1 slice with cottage cheese and diabetes jam. 0.3l apple juice (100%) and 0.3l water.

Snack 1015: 5 delicous plums. Went to the market to buy vegetables directly from the farmer. He had some irresistable plums I just had to buy. Bought 15 of them, so I have enough for 3 snack meals. :)

Lunch 1230: 2 slices of rye bread with lettuce, smoked turkey and tomato. 0.4l water.

Dinner 1545: 5 slices of home made taco pizza. Made pizza with thinner crust, low fat cheese (15%) and lots of vegetables. You cand find the recipe here. The pizza looks like this:

snack 1915: 3 plums.

Todays last thoughts: This indeed became a slow and bad day tawlc-wise. But it has been a good day anyways. I have relaxed and charged batteries. I had a 0.5l bottle of coca cola in the fridge and has been drinking this in small potions through the day. In addition to the pizza for dinner I also snacked on two bites of a slice and gave the rest of the slice to the dog. Not a bad slip, but it has been the worst tawlc-day so far. Don’t plan to have a lot of theese, but it feels good every now and then. Must be careful not to get too rigid.

Haven’t exercised anything today either. Has been out for a few errands, but took the bus to get to these.
