Begging for visitors and activity!

Sven and I have been tawlcing for a month now and we have both gotten
considerably lighter. The concept is working.

But we are struggling with falling visitor-numbers. We want
www.tawlc.net to be a site where people motivates us with comments,
tips, criticism and advise and a site where people can go for
motivation and support.

We have decided to give a prize to visitor number 3000 (check the
counter on the lower right) and the first to reach 15 relevant posts

The time hasn’t started crawling yet. Time flies right now, and that’s very good. :) In 4 days I’m a dad. Can’t wait to see my little baby.

But life goes on anyways and here starts todays diet:

Breakfast 0715: 1 slice of keyhole-bread with cheese, tomato and cucumber, 1/2 with cottage cheese and dia raspberry jam and 1/2 with dia apple sauce and cinnamon. 0.7l water and a cup of coffe.

0945: 1 apple.

Lunch 1145: 2 turkey-burgers with whole-grain buns, lettuce, yellow red-bellpepper and cheese. 0.5l pepsi max.

Dinner 1500: 170 grams of coalfish filet with fried onion, 4 tiny potatoes and lots of boiled broccoli and carrots. 0.5l peach drink (fun light peach passion) without calories. 150 grams of crushed strawberries for dessert.

Took a 90 minute walk with the dog. It shows that my body has been through a lot this week. Being cut open and on heavy pain killers for 2 days has rendered my body in a lousy shape. Was near dead when I returned home. But I’ve gotten started again. Guess I will get in better shape in a few days.

Supper 1930: 1 slice of keyhole-bread with fish-burger and lettuce. 0.5l pepsi max and a mini (10 grams) snickers bar and a small banana.

5 days left until the family grows. :) Can’t wait.

Have been constipated the last three days. A side-effect of the pain-killers. As a result of this my weight has gained 1.5 kilos. But I’ve stopped taking them now and it seems things are starting to get moving again. Rather live with some pain in my arm than being constipated.

Breakfast 0730: 1 slice of keyhole-bread with cheese, turkey-slice, lettuce, cucumber and tomato and 1 slice with mackerel in tomato sauce. 0.7l water to drink.

Lunch 1300: 2 Chopped dinner sausages of chicken and turkey fried with 3 chopped fresh tomatoes, 1 onion an 1/2 red bell-pepper. Very delish. Had 0.6l pepsi max to drink.

1545: 150 grams of crushed, frozen strawberries. No added sugar.

1715: 2 Rolls of white bread and 1 banana.

2015: 4 chicken nuggets. The dog got 2 of them. 1 sip of my wifes chocolate milkshake.

Feeling bad!

I am feeling seriously bad. Tried to exercise today. That is not a good idea on heavy pain killers. My head is spinning and I feel I do not have control over my arms and legs. Crazy. Guess I will just relax for a couple of days. Took a 30 minute fast walk today and was very close to passing out. Scary.

6 days until I am a father.. Looking forward to that.

Breakfast 0930: 2 slices of keyhole-bread with boiled egg. about 125 grams of baby carrots. 0.3l water and 1.5dl of apple juice.

1200: 1 apple.

Lunch 1345: 2 slices of keyhole-bread. 1 with turkey-slice, lettuce, cottage cheese, red bell-pepper and cucumber, 1/2 with diabetes apple-sauce and cinnamon and 1/2 with cottage cheese and diabetes raspberry-jam. 0.6l water to drink.

Dinner 1730: Made a delicous variant of tomato soup today. Ate 1,5 servings of this. Check out the recipe here. Had 0.3l pepsi max and 0.3l water to drink.

1900: 1 apple and a cup of coffee.

2230: 2 slices of keyhole bread with cheese and turkey.

A day at the hospital!

Weighed in at 151.4 kilos today. Only 0.1 kilo down. But that was expected after a bad week. Because of my leg injury I didn’t get to work out. It didn’t help that I had a louse week diet-wise.

But it is a new week and new possibilities. I won’t log any food today. I don’t feel too good after the surgery.

Sunday!

Breakfast 1030: 3 slices of keyhole-bread. 2 with lettuce and eggs and one with turkey-slice. 1 kiwi and 0.5l water to drink.

1145: an apple and a cup of coffee.

Afternoon meal 1500: 2 slices of wheat bread (grovbrød) with cheese. 0.5l water and 0.3l pepsi max. Had 4 or 5 marshmallows also.

Dinner 1845: 4 turkey hotdogs with wheat bread (grovbrød)-buns. Each hotdog weighed 34 grams and has 10.5% fat.

Going to have surgery tomorrow. I have some metal in my arm since I broke it 11 years ago. They are going to remove it. Guess tomorrow will be a day without very much logging. I will try to update the results and the chart when I come home from the hospital tomorrow night.

Had some vanilla ice cream.

Another crisp and fine day!

Breakfast 0830: 1 wheat bread roll with smoked pepper-mackerel, 1 with shrimps in mayo and 1 with lettuce and cucumber. 0.5l pepsi max (yes, I know, but it’s saturday, dammit).

Lunch 1145: Had a huge and semi-unhealthy lunch, but it tasted so incredibly good. Had three wheat bread rolls with nothing on, 1 pizzaloaf and a napoleons cake. Drank 0.7l water and a sip of pepsi max.

Just returned from the forest. Had a long, exhausting 2 hour walk. Because of the rain lateley, the ground was very soft and heavy to walk on. Very good exercise. But where does the dog get his energy from? 2 hours of continuous running. Impressive.

1600: 1 rollerburger in potato-cake (lompe) with lettuce and ketchup.

dinner/supper 1915: 4 slices of pepperoni-pizza and 0.5l pepsi max.

This has been a bad day diet-wise, but my leg is completely healed, so I got a long walk with the dog into the program. Tomorrow I will keep my food intake at a minimum. Must do whatever possible to go down on monday again. Have a bad feeling about this week. Going to visit my in-laws though, so if I am to get any exercise, I have to do this in the morning. Guess I will take a 2-3 hour walk on the morning-trip with the dog. Good for both him and me, since he will be home alone most of the day.

Bad day yesterday!

Yesterday was a bad day. Sweet pastry and waffle is not good. But hey, this is a permanent lifestyle change and not a temporary diet. I have to be able to eat a bit unhealthy one seldom time.

Breakfast 0715: 3 pieces of wheetabix with lo-fat (0.7% fat) milk and diabetes jam. Had an additional glass of the same milk to drink.

Lunch 1045: 2 slices of wheat bread with chicken burger, lettuce, cheese and red bell-pepper.

Looking forward to chicken breast and rice today.. Going to start cooking it now.

Dinner 1515: Chicken in curry with rice, lettuce and tomato. 0.5l pepsi max.

1830: McDonalds before the theater. 1 double cheeseburger, 1 fruit bag and 1 McFlurry with oboy. Had 0.2l diet coke to drink.

Had about 50 grams of milk chocolate at the theater along with 0.4l water.

Lunch 1200: One pizzaloaf and 0.5l pepsi max.

Afternoon snack: 2 clementines and 1 piece of sweet pastry.

Dinner 1630: 1 serving mexican casserole with wheat bread and one white bread roll. 3 small glasses of water.

Going to see a hockeymatch today, so there will not be much time for exercise today either, except for the walk from the rink to the transportation pickup.

Had a waffle and 0.3l diet coke at the hockey match.

Late supper 2045: wheat bread baguette with ham, cheese, lettuce and tomato.
